EN: The fourth wave of the pandemic changed our plans regarding business trips, however a few days ago I just flew to Paris after 3 and a half months break and finally visited our new HQ 🙂 As usual, our schedule was extremely booked in those few days so there was hardly chance for sightseeing but this time I decided to take a day off and extend my visit with one day & change into tourist mode 😛
Our stay could not have been more convenient, we had our hotel just for a 2 minute walk from the office and special thanks to Elena, the best assistant in the world for making the reservation to the 19th floor! I had a huge window and a stunning view of the whole city either it was a beautiful sunrise in the morning or dazzling motions in the late evening 😛
We also had a pretty nice weather – especially compared to the conditions in Hungary – except on Friday, my day off 😀 So after having a solid plan of a morning run-decent breakfast-late check out-sightseeing lineup, I had to overwrite everything and check out as soon as I could, start my city tour in order to avoid the rain as much as possible – even if I got an umbrella and continued my tour, I preferred not to get too soaked 😀
Anyway, it was enough for this time, although I have more in my mind so next probably I’m staying for the weekend as well, why not? 😉 But I really wanted to come home since in 2 days I need to dash off to Basel to attend a scientific congress and represent the company! 😛
HU: A COVID negyedik hulláma ismét generált némi szünetet az üzleti utak terén, de három és fél hónap után ismét Párizsban jártam, ezúttal végre az új központunkban 🙂 Szokás szerint ilyenkor mindig feszített a tempó, úgyhogy városnézésre szinte nulla idő jut, de ezúttal úgy döntöttem, kiveszek egy szabadnapot és csütörtök helyett csak péntek este térek haza egy városnézős nap után 🙂 A kényelemről sok mindent elárul, hogy a szállásunk gyalog két percre volt az irodától és innen is köszönöm Elenának, a legjobb asszisztensnek a foglalást, egy hatalmas ablakon keresztül pazar kilátás nyílt a városra a 19. emeletről, akár a reggeli ébredésről, akár a késő esti órákról volt szó 😛
Szuper időnk is volt, főleg az otthoni viszonyokhoz képest, bár az időjárás pont pénteken nem volt a barátom, a gyönyörűen eltervezett napom borult pénteken reggel, úgyhogy a futás-kiadós reggeli-késői check out-városnézés sorrend helyett gyorsan összeszedtem magam és a nyakamba vettem a várost, mielőtt rám szakadt az ég – bár gyorsan szereztem egy esernyőt és utána is folytattam a túrát, nem terveztem túlzottan megázni 🙂
Igazság szerint ez most talán pont elég is volt, bár van még jópár elem a listámon, legközelebb lehet hogy maradok hétvégére is… 😉 …de a következő állomás holnapután Basel, ahol páran egy tudományos expón képviseljük a céget 🙂
