Finally I can report that I finished going through all the pics taken yesterday so let me show a more spectacular story about the trip to Montserrat. We travelled by bus from the UAB Campus, it took almost an hour to reach the monastery. We started and finished hiking there, we left the main square about 11.30 am and arrived back a bit before 5.30 pm. I have no idea, how many kilometres we did in total but it was an awesome hiking, that’s for sure! We had our walk in a very diverse field, upwards were changed by forest trails and stairs and during the all way we had am amazing panorama! We managed to get to the top at around 3 pm and even we were dying, we realized how much it was worth it the effort! 🙂 On the way back we were walking in a much easier and shorter forest trail, in principle there are about 1200 stairs leading back to the main square, not counting those parts where the stairs were changed by upwards or slopes. As we arrived back, we got a little free time when we visited the monastery and did a little shopping in the gift shop 🙂
Jelentem, sikerült átválogatni a tegnap készült képeket, így következzen egy látványosabb beszámoló a montserrati kirándulásról 🙂 Az UAB Campusról busszal vittek minket egészen a monostorig, amely körülbelül egy szűk órás út volt. A túrát a monostornál kezdtük és fejeztük be, körülbelül fél 12-kor indulhattunk el a főtérről, ahová egy kicsivel fél 6 előtt érkeztünk vissza. Fogalmam sincs, hogy hány kilométert tettünk meg összesen, de jó kis túra volt, az biztos! Nagyon változatos terepen jártunk, az emelkedőket erdei ösvények és lépcsők váltották, közben pedig végig gyönyörű kilátásunk volt! A tetőre kb. 3 körül sikerült felérni és bár a halálunkon voltunk, akkor láttuk hogy mennyire megérte a fáradságot! 🙂 Visszafelé egy jóval könnyebb és rövidebb, erdei úton jöttünk, elvileg 1200 lépcsőfok vezet a főtérig, nem számolva viszont azokat a szakaszokat ahol emelkedők vagy éppen lejtők váltották a lépcsőket. A főtérre visszaérve kaptunk egy kis szabadidőt, ekkor megnéztük a monostort illetve vásároltunk egy kicsit az ottani ajándékboltban 🙂
Besides the monastery there was a place where the local producers were selling cheese, honey and other delicaces in white tents. We bought a few stuff here as well so we didn’t have to bother so much about today’s breakfast. We opened one of the cheeses bought there, goat cheese with rosemary, it was divine! 🙂
A monostor mellett pedig volt egy szakasz, ahol fehér sátrakban árultak a helyi termelők sajtot, mézet és egyéb finomságokat, itt is beszereztünk 1-2 dolgot, így a mai reggelivel nem kellett sokat bajlódni. Az egyik ott vásárolt, rozmaringos kecskesajtot bontottuk fel, isteni! 🙂
