Yes, today we celebrated a birthday, the first birthday of the blog 🙂 In fact, the first of March became an annual to http://flowervision.tumblr.com/, but then we were already in full swing at the end of the finishing touches of creating the new blog so I decided to delay the celebration a bit and new year for the blog starts TODAY! Of course, not everything came together, my laptop’s HDD decided to die so I paused for more than a week of operations and I could also write posts very rarely. But the point is that you’re here now, and I really hope you like the new site. Maybe I should continue with the reason why I decided to move the blog. As you know, I started everything here on Tumblr, which is a great website, especially if you want inspiration, you can find amazing pictures. However, I realized that it fits to my “personal blog” category less, I would like to have a real blogger platform, having those opportunities that I missed from Tumblr so much. So I got to WordPress, where I have been creating the new blog for a long time. I got lots of help, I would like to thank everyone who has added something in any way to now you are reading my post at Virág’s Lab. Speaking of the name change I also thought, that with new blog it might be time to refine the name a little, so I left “flowervision” and the very quickly chosen “Where dreams meet reality” too. (At Twitter you can still find me as @flower_vision ). I had no idea in connection with the new name, I had a lot of things swirling in my head but did not find any of them the best choice. Then one of my friends told me that I shoud use that I’m a chemist student, since he has not heard of anyone like this, choosing blogging as a hobby with this kind of profession. I agree with him because I think it is terribly special and awesome 😛 This is how Virág’s Lab came to my head. I chose leaving my name in Hungarian since everyone knows me as Virág, and the lab means my own little personal corner, referring to my chemist side.
I think that’s all that I wanted to say for the beginnig. I didn’t say goodbye to Tumblr for forever, I’m leaving my account to search for inspiration pictures, but from this time you can read my personal posts at http://viragslab.com/
Igen, ma szülinapoztunk, még pedig a blog miatt 🙂 Valójában március elsején lett egy éves a http://flowervision.tumblr.com/, viszont akkor már javában az átköltözés végén jártunk az utolsó simításokat végezve, így úgy döntöttem, hogy halasztom egy kicsit a szülinapot és az új év pontosan MA kezdődik a blog számára 🙂 Persze nem jött minden össze, pont a véghajrában adta meg magát a laptopom HDD-je, így több mint egy hétig szüneteltettem a műveleteket és a bejegyzések is elég nyögvenyelősen jöttek. De a lényeg, hogy most itt vagytok, és nagyon remélem hogy tetszik az új felület 🙂 Többek tanácsára létrehoztam a blog Facebook oldalát is, nagyon örülnék egy-két (sok) lájknak 😉

Talán azzal folytatnám, hogy miért is döntöttem úgy, hogy áthelyezem a blogot. Mint tudjátok, eredetileg a Tumblr-ön indultam, ami egy remek felület, főleg ha az ember inspirációra vágyik, csodás képekre lehet bukkanni. Rájöttem viszont, hogy az én „személyes blog” kategóriámhoz már kevésbé passzol, egy igazi blogos platformot szerettem volna, ahol megvannak azok a lehetőségek, amelyeket hiányoltam a Tumblr-ről. Így jutottam el a WordPresshez, ahol már jó ideje alkotom az új blogot. Rengeteg segítséget kaptam, ezúton szeretném megköszönni mindenkinek, aki bármilyen formában hozzátett valamit ahhoz, hogy most már a Virág’s Lab-on jártok 😛 Ha már a névváltásnál tartunk, úgy gondoltam, ha már új blog, akkor talán ideje lenne kicsit finomítani a néven is, így megváltam az igencsak hirtelen felindulásból választott „flowervision”-től illetve a „Where dreams meet reality”-től. (Twitteren továbbra is @flower_vision-ként találtok). Sokáig nem volt ihletem az új névvel kapcsolatban, sok minden kavargott a fejemben, de egyiket sem találtam az igazinak. Aztán egyik ismerősöm mondta, hogy használjam ki azt, hogy vegyész hallgató vagyok, mert ő nem hallott még senkiről, aki ilyesmi foglalkozás mellett a blogolást választotta hobbiként. Egyetértek vele, mert ez szerintem is iszonyatosan különleges 😛 Így született meg a Virág’s Lab. A nevemet inkább magyarul hagytam, hiszen mindenki Virágként ismert, a labor pedig az én saját kis személyes kuckómat jelképezi, utalva a vegyész énemre 🙂
Azt hiszem, kezdetnek ennyit gondoltam. A Tumblr-től nem búcsúzom örökre, továbbra is meghagyom a felhasználómat, hogy inspirációs képek után kutathassak, de a személyes bejegyzéseket innentől kezdve a http://viragslab.com/ -on éritek el 😛
