A little time ago I had the honor to test a very special niche perfume that has attracted my attention for a long time. Probably you can figure out from the title that it was Hedonist by Viktoria Minya. To be honest, it was the first niche or indie perfume (it means perfumes created by independent perfumers working in their own studio), that I could test. In addition it’s the product of a Hungarian perfumer so I felt the occassion really special 🙂 The perfume sample arrived in this small package:
Egy kis ideje az a megtiszteltetés ért, hogy tesztelhettem egy rendkívül különleges niche parfümöt, amely már régóta felkeltette az érdeklődésemet. A bejegyzés címéből bizonyára kitaláljátok, hogy a Minya Viktória által megalkotott Hedonist-ról van szó. Az igazat megvallva, ez az első niche vagy indie parfüm (ez független, saját stúdióban dolgozó parfümőrök általi kreációt jelent), amelyet lehetőségem volt kipróbálni, nem beszélve arról, hogy magyar parfümőr alkotásáról van szó, így kellően különlegesnek éreztem az alkalmat 🙂 Az illatminta az alábbi kis csomagban érkezett:
The signed accompanying card and the small label on the vial made the received package more personal. When I opened it, felt an indescribably pleasant (well, I really can’t find the suitable words, you have to feel it!) fragrance immediately. That was the moment when I knew, it’s not an ordinary scent, and that was the reason why I waited so much time with testing, and collected my thoughts after a long time.
A mellékelt kísérőkártya illetve a mintásüvegen lévő kis címke még személyesebbé tette a kapott csomagocskát, amely kibontásakor leírhatatlanul kellemes (tényleg nem találok rá szavakat, ezt érezni kell!) illateszencia áradt ki. Ekkor már tudtam, hogy nem egy hétköznapi illatról van szó, ezért is vártam annyi időt a teszteléssel, és csak több alkalom után szedtem össze a gondolataimat 🙂
In case of fragrance notes beside jasmine, rose and orange blossom, cedar and vanilla is also included in this wonderful fragrance combination, and well, in connection with the latter, you should know that it works like and essential component, I don’t choose my perfumes whether they include vanilla or not, but sooner or later it always turns out that the perfumes I have or I’m still dreaming of having them, contain vanilla note (good to know if you want to give me a perfume as a present, haha :D)
Az illatjegyeket tekintve a jázmin, rózsa és narancsvirág mellett a cédrus és a vanília is helyet kapott ebben a csodálatos illatvilágban, utóbbiról pedig tudni kell, hogy számomra úgy működik, mint valami nélkülözhetetlen komponens, nem eszerint választom a parfümjeimet, hogy van-e benne vanília vagy sem, de előbb vagy utóbb kiderül, hogy az összes parfüm, amellyel rendelkezem, vagy egyelőre álmodozom a birtoklásukról, egytől egyig tartalmaz vanília illatjegyet (ha esetleg parfümmel szeretne meglepni valaki, nem árt tudni :P)
Opening the vial, at first I got struck by the incredibly rich and strong combination, however a quite pleasant and delicate fragrance emerged after getting distributed on the skin. In addition, I felt that I’m wearing a luxury perfume and whose received name “Hedonist” is not a random one. Speaking about that, I would like to say a few words about what sort of women was this perfume created for 🙂
A fiola kibontásakor elsőre nagyon megcsapott a hihetetlenül gazdag és erős aromakombináció, viszont a bőrön eloszlatva nagyon kellemes, finom illat alakult ki, amelyhez természetesen társult az a tudat, hogy igenis, én most egy luxus parfümöt viselek, amely nem véletlenül kapta a Hedonist nevet. Ha már itt tartunk, ejtenék pár szót arról, hogy szerintem milyen nőknek is szól ez a kreáció 🙂
At first you should watch, in what form the customer gets the perfume. The glass is hidden in a handmade wooden box, whose look and touch both gives the feel of snake skin. Looking at the polishing of the glass, it’s a highly detailed and finely crafted piece and the golden fragrance inside just enhances that. And it’s still not enough, in the perfume hundreds of tiny crystals sparkle! The question is, who use this intoxicant and provocative scent, lying in such an artfully constructed package? Those women, who live every moment of their lives. They respect themselves, succeed, dare to be themselves and don’t let anyone or anything to give limits to them. Speaking about the definition of hedonist, for me it doesn’t mean pursuit of enjoyments without any sense, but the fact that you enjoy that you’re doing, whatever it is. Should you live your life differently? 🙂
Ehhez először azt célszerű megszemlélni, hogy a parfüm milyen formában kerül a vásárló kezébe. Az üveget egy kézműves fa doboz rejti, amely tapintásra és látványra kígyóbőr érzetét kelti. Az üveg csiszolását tekintve is rendkívül részletes, finoman megmunkált darab, ezt pedig csak fokozza a benne lévő aranyló illateszencia. És hogy mindez ne legyen elég, a parfümben több száz apró kristály csillog! Kérdés, hogy kik használnak egy ilyen művészien megalkotott csomagolásban rejlő, mámorító de egyben provokatív illatot? Azok a nők, akik megélik az életük minden pillanatát. Tisztelik magukat, sikeresek, mernek önmaguk lenni és nem hagyják hogy bárki és bármi korlátok közé szorítsa őket. Ha már a hedonista fogalomnál tartunk, számomra ez nem az élvezetet ész nélküli hajszolásával egyenlő, hanem azzal, hogy élvezem azt amit csinálok, bármiről legyen is szó. Érdemes máshogy élni az életet? 🙂
