Daalarna Fashion Show 2017

EN: I couldn’t miss the quite popular Daalarna Fashion Show this year as well, which took place at Millenáris, as usual. I think Anita Benes is one of the most talented and professional wedding dress designers, who absolutely loves her job and makes us amazed by her wonderful new creations every year. I’ve been following her work for years, so I already checked the campaign photos of the latest Paradise collection before the show, however it’s completely different to see these fascinating dresses on a fashion show, so I couldn’t wait for the event 🙂
The show itself was amazing, the dresses were beautiful and a perfect match with the accessories, decoration and music, however there were several factors, which decreased the overall enjoyment 🙁 Of course it’s a great thing that more and more people want to come and see the show every year, so two fashion shows were organized due to the big interest. However, much more tickets were sold, than available seats, which caused a huge mess during the whole event. Thanks to Lilla, who was already there the just a few minutes after the door opening, we had seats in the last row, but the huge crowd with people intruding and pushing each other was really chaotic. I also couldn’t understand why the catwalk was not in a podium, as usual which meant that only the VIP guests could enjoy the show completely, who had their seats in the front row.
Anyway, I’m still glad to had the chance to attend the show as a press person and I absolutely think that the dresses were breathtaking! As usual, I’m showing you my favourites and I’ll show my outfit in a very special post pretty soon! 🙂

HU: Idén sem hagyhattam ki a méltán népszerű Daalarna bemutatót, aminek az előző évekhez hasonlóan a Millenáris adott otthont. Benes Anitát az egyik legtehetségesebb legprofibb esküvői ruhatervezőként tartom számon, akin látszik, hogy imádja amit csinál, és évről évre tud nekünk újat mutatni. Munkásságát már évek óta követem, így a bemutatón debütáló Paradise kollekció kampányfotóit már meglestem a show előtt, de teljesen más élmény élőben látni ezeket a csodás kreációkat, így nagyon vártam az eseményt 🙂
Maga a bemutató nagyon tetszett, a ruhák, kiegésztők, a díszlet és a zene tökéletesen passzoltak egymáshoz, viszont volt egy-két tényező, ami az élvezhetőség rovására ment 🙁 Nyilván nagyszerű dolog az, hogy évről-évre egyre többen érdeklődnek, így a szervezők egy délutáni és egy esti bemutatóval is készültek (amit tény és való, hogy nem tudom, hova lehetne fokozni), viszont nem hiszem, hogy jó ötlet volt sokkal több jegyet értékesíteni, mint amennyi ülőhely volt a csarnokban. Lilla barátnőmnek köszönhetően (aki már kapunyitás után pár perccel ott volt a helyszínen) igaz volt helyünk az utolsó sorban, de a hatalmas tömeg (gondolok itt a bemutató előtti és utáni percekben való lökdösődésre és káoszra) nagyben csökkentette az élményt 🙁 Nem beszélve arról, hogy a kifutó szokatlan módon nem pódiumon volt, így körülbelül csak az első sorban helyet foglaló VIP vendégek élvezhették maximálisan a látványt. Mindezek ellenére örülök, hogy idén is részt vehettem sajtós vendégként a bemutatón, a ruhák egyszerűen lélegzetelállítóak voltak! 🙂 Szokás szerint a kedvenceimből mutatok egy kis válogatást, saját szettemmel pedig nemsokára visszatérek egy igazán rendhagyó bejegyzésben! 🙂
